14 November 2014: The CMA has today decided that the completed acquisition by Graham’s The Family Dairy Limited (Graham’s) of Quothquan Farms Limited (Quothquan) does not qualify for investigation under the merger provisions of the Enterprise Act 2002. Invitation to comment: Now closed
15 October 2014: The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is considering whether it is or may be the case that this transaction has resulted in the creation of a relevant merger situation under the merger provisions of the Enterprise Act 2002 and, if so, whether the creation of that situation has resulted, or may be expected to result, in a substantial lessening of competition within any market or markets in the United Kingdom for goods or services.

Initial enforcement order
On 15 September 2014 the CMA imposed an initial enforcement order on Graham’s The Family Dairy Group Limited and Graham’s The Family Dairy Limited pursuant to section 72(2) of the Enterprise Act 2002. A copy of the order can be found below:
