EU Settlement Scheme, Frontier Worker permit or Service Provider from Switzerland visa applications
Get help if you have questions about:
- the EU Settlement Scheme
- using the ‘EU Exit: ID Document Check’ app
- Frontier Worker permits
- the Service Provider from Switzerland visa
Check if you can apply to the EU Settlement Scheme
The deadline for most people to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme was 30 June 2021. Check if you can still apply for the EU Settlement Scheme.
If you are not eligible, check if you need a visa to continue living in the UK.
Switch from pre-settled to settled status
If you have pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, you can usually switch to settled status after you have lived in the UK for 5 years in a row.
Check if you can switch to settled status.
If you are not sure if you are eligible
UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) contact centre staff cannot give you advice on whether you are eligible for the EU Settlement Scheme or check your application before you submit it.
You can:
- find out more about getting specialist immigration advice on the Citizens Advice website
- get help if you are vulnerable or your application is complex
Sign back into your EU Settlement Scheme application if you have not submitted it
You can sign in to continue your application.
Check when you will get a decision
UKVI contact centre staff cannot track the progress of your application.
You can contact UKVI if both of the following apply:
- your decision has taken longer than 1 month
- UKVI has not contacted you about your application - check your email’s spam or junk folder
Find out why your decision might take longer than 1 month.
