CLOSED: Skills in Employment in Heart of the South West LEP area (OC16S18P1152)
Call to run a project to offer employed individuals the opportunity to progress their skills in Heart of the South West LEP area.
This call is now closed. Please do not submit an application for this call. The information provided on this page is for reference purposes only.
Details
This call focuses upon offering employed individuals the opportunity to progress their skills, with a particular focus on intermediate / technical and higher-level skills (e.g. NVQ Level 3 and 4), as well as high demand skills at lower levels which enable growth (e.g. NVQ Level 2 qualifications within transformational / opportunity sectors).
The focus of the activity in this call therefore seeks to meet the demand for intermediate and higher-level skills. In particular, it seeks to enable those in work and within core sectors / transformational opportunity areas, but perhaps not currently subject to an active offer around upskilling, to realise their potential. It also seeks to support those areas which are currently trailing regional and national averages on Level 3 and 4 performance, seeking to realise opportunities within their most dynamic businesses to catalyse additional growth and their employee’s capacity to contribute to overall productivity.
