Details
This project investigated which models and methods for predicting severe weather that causes flooding would make best use of the latest Met Office approaches to predicting the weather. Phase 1 and 2 examined new Met Office developments using numerical data, while Phase 3 examined Met Office advances using high resolution forecasting and probabilities.
This project was started in 2006 and completed in 2010.
