Call for evidence description

The UK Government and Scottish Government have jointly commissioned an independent report to consider the block grant adjustment arrangements for tax and welfare devolution.

Both governments are now seeking views and evidence on behalf of the report’s authors to support their independent assessment of how different block grant adjustment arrangements deliver on the Smith Commission’s principles.

Respondents will find an information sheet provided by the authors at the start of the survey (also below), to help with answering the questions. There will also be space to upload documents or provide other comments on issues being considered by the independent report.
