This document summarises the responses to the call for evidence on the government’s questions surrounding the creation of a secondary market for annuities. It sets out the decisions the government has taken to achieve the reforms announced at March Budget 2015, to remove restrictions on individuals selling their annuity income stream, and outlines the next steps for implementing the market.
