Call for evidence description
The transport resilience review expert panel is seeking your experience and views on the planning, performance and response of the transport network to severe weather events.
Through the transport resilience review we will identify practical measures to improve the resilience of our transport network to severe weather events in the short term. We will also give due consideration to longer term resilience of the nation’s transport infrastructure.
The review will examine:

- contingency planning to manage the effects of severe weather
- investigation of increased rates of asset degradation and the effects on asset performance and service life
- adaptation of infrastructure to manage projected future risks
