Cloud technology and the public sector
These resources are for anyone who works in the public sector and wants to use cloud platforms in their organisation.
The resources explain what you need to get started – from setting your strategy, to selecting a platform, to how to host your service and manage your spending in the cloud.
In addition to the policies, guidance and case studies, we encourage you to access the learning materials, visit the vendor microsites and get involved in our communities and events.
We also welcome your feedback and suggestions. You can contact the CDDO Cloud and Platforms Team by emailing [email protected].
Policies and guidance
The government’s Cloud First policy was introduced in 2013. Since then, we’ve published additional documents that support this policy and the adoption of cloud technology in public sector organisations.
Case studies
Learn from others how cloud platforms have benefitted their organisation, from improving efficiencies to changing workplace culture.
