Reports and 'breeds at risk lists' from the UK Genetics for Livestock and Equines (UKGLE) Committee.
This collection brings together resources and reports relating to Farm Animal Genetic Resources (FAnGR) and material relating to the UKGLE Committee.
The ‘breeds at risk lists’ are for farmers checking eligibility for financial support in UK schemes, or for disease risks in livestock.

Defra has an extensive programme of research. Some projects relevant to farm animal genetic resources are listed below:
- UK GLE Committee (formerly Farm Animal Genetic Resources Committee) prepared a report which sets out recommendations to improve trade and profitability for British beef through better use of genetics
- GC0146: Development of co-ordinated in situ and ex situ UK Farm Animal Genetic Resources conservation strategy and implementation guidance
