Farmer Opinion Tracker
Analysis of farmer views and opinions towards Defra’s vision for farming
This series provides analysis of the farmer opinion surveys run to seek views and opinions of farmers in England on Defra’s vision for farming. Over time farmers will be asked a series of broadly the same questions about Defra’s vision for farming, business planning, relationships with farming groups and Defra and the future of farming.
The survey was set up to collect opinion prior to, and during, the agricultural transition. The data collected via this survey will be used to monitor farmer opinion over time to see how it is changing as we move through the agricultural transition period.
