Leasehold dwellings
Statistics on the number of leasehold dwellings in England.
Each year, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government produces an estimate of the number of leasehold dwellings in England.
The estimate is produced by matching English Housing Survey and Land Registry data and shows how the distribution of leasehold dwellings varies by dwelling type, tenure and region.
These statistics are Official Statistics and produced in accordance with the governance and operational arrangements set out in statistical legislation, and in compliance with the standards of best practice set out in the Code of Practice for Statistics.
Leasehold estimates produced for 2014-15 to 2018-19 were published as Experimental Official Statistics while the methodology was developed and tested.
