Marine Protection Area consultations
See the proposals for new or extended Special Protection Areas to protect internationally and nationally important populations of birds.
Special Protection Areas (SPAs) are special sites designated to protect rare, vulnerable and migratory birds of European importance.
Natural England consulted on proposals to extend existing SPAs or create new SPAs to protect the ideal feeding waters used by protected birds. Natural England will publish the outcomes as they become available.
