Consultation description
The Airports Commission seeks feedback on new evidence relating to the air quality assessment of the 3 additional airport capacity options short-listed in its ‘Interim report’. The more detailed dispersion modelling set out in this report provides greater assurance about the air quality implications of each proposal and the scope for mitigation.
We have published:
- a consultation cover note setting out the purpose of this consultation and how to respond
- an ‘Air quality assessment report’
-
3 appendices to the report featuring:
- local assessment figures
- local assessment spatial maps
- local assessment airports data
In addition, spreadsheets containing the raw surface access data used in the dispersion modelling are available on our consultants’ website. This detailed information is very extensive and the files are large. The spreadsheets are not required to understand and respond to the overall analysis published in the ‘Air quality assessment report’. The files may however be of interest to any respondents who wish to review the detailed technical background to this work.
