The national consultation exercises on proposals to modify the locations of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) UK Marine Offices and proposed changes to MCA working practices, completed on 21st April 2016. Following the consultation, the proposals for the UK Marine Office changes were amended and subsequently approved by the MCA Executive Board. No changes were made to the proposals on MCA working practices.

Consultation description
This consultation covers proposals to modify the locations of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) UK estate laydown, reducing the number of Marine Offices from 14 to 10. It also addresses some proposed changes to MCA working practices that will improve our services to customers.
Responses are invited on the impact that 2 elements will have on you and your work:
- proposed changes to the estate laydown of Marine Offices
- ways of working in support of customers
