This consultation seeks comments on the Merchant Guidance Note which provides guidance on a new Fishing Safety Management Code (FSM), developed by Industry, which will also assist in complying with the new requirements implementing the ILO Work in Fishing Convention C.188 in the United Kingdom and with the new Codes of Practice, MSN 1871, MSN 1872 and MSN 1873.
