This consultation seeks your views on implementing four of the most recent amendments made to the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (‘the MLC’) into UK legislation, see Annexes A and B.

Annexes C and D outline the accompanying guidance and annex E details the costing analysis.

Annex F provides an overview of the MLC 2006 amendments for 2022.

In particular, your views are sought on the associated costs, impacts and any potential gaps or unintended consequences.

Responses are welcomed from 11th December 2024 until 22nd January 2025.
