Consumer protection in green heating and insulation sector: a call for information
Consultation description
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) asked consumers, businesses and other interested parties to share their views and experiences of buying or selling green heating or insulation products by responding to questionnaires, in order to inform its understanding of potential consumer protection issues in this sector and how businesses could be better supported to meet their responsibilities under consumer protection law.
This consultation is now closed.
The CMA is carrying out this work under section 5 of the Enterprise Act 2002, which gives the CMA the power to obtain, compile and keep under review information about matters relating to its functions.
