Consultation description

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is consulting further on updated draft rules and guidance for energy code modification appeals to the CMA to replace the current rules (CC10) and guide (CC11).

This consultation follows from the CMA’s consultation on draft rules of procedure and guidance for energy code modification appeals which took place from 23 July to 3 September 2024 (July consultation).

This second consultation seeks the views of interested parties on the CMA’s proposed changes to the draft updated Rules and Guide to take into account changes to the Energy Act 2004 introduced since the July consultation by the commencement of section 201 and Schedule 14 of the Energy Act 2023.
