Consultation description

This is a consultation about developing new GCSE, A and AS level qualifications that will be taught for the first time in September 2016. This is part of Ofqual’s work supporting the government’s changes to GCSE, AS and A levels.

We’re consulting on changes to the following subjects, which will be taught from the start of the 2016 school year:

GCSEs

  • citizenship studies
  • cooking and nutrition
  • design and technology
  • drama

A level and AS qualifications

  • Drama and theatre
