Detail of outcome

This ‘InterCity East Coast consultation summary report’ summarises responses and highlighting where options for the emerging franchise proposition are set out in the InterCity East Coast prospectus. The consultation closed in September 2012.

This document was published in 2013 alongside the InterCity East Coast OJEU Notice and InterCity East Coast prospectus, to enable those who responded to the consultation, potential bidders and other interested parties to see the key concerns and issues raised in advance of the publication of the invitation to tender (ITT) in 2014.

In March 2014 we published an ‘InterCity East Coast stakeholder briefing document’ setting out what has been included in the franchise specification. This document updates the ‘InterCity East Coast summary report’ published on 25 October 2013.
