We invite views on the proposals for the criteria and processes for degree-awarding powers and university title.

Consultation description

We’re seeking views on:

• the processes and criteria for applying for different types of degree-awarding powers
• the processes and criteria for applying for university title or university college title
• post-award issues for both degree-awarding powers and university title, such as rights and obligations, and the circumstances in which powers to vary or revoke degree-awarding powers or revoke university title may be used

We also held separate consultations on a number of related subjects:

• Regulatory framework
• Designated quality body for higher education in England
• Designated data body for higher education in England
• Registration fees
