Summary

This consultation is about guidance for the General Conditions of Recognition.

Consultation description

We publish guidance to help awarding organisations understand how to meet our rules. Awarding organisations must take our guidance into account when considering the requirements of the Conditions.

Most of the guidance in this consultation is for Conditions for which we haven’t yet published guidance. In addition, there are proposed changes to existing guidance for two conditions. We are also consulting on guidance which awarding organisations should have regard to where they may have issued incorrect results. This particular guidance does not align to a sole Condition. It aims to provide awarding organisations with an approach to meeting a number of requirements in this difficult area.

We would like to know your views on our drafts.

After our consultation closes, we will consider any changes based on the responses. We plan to publish the guidance next year.
