A government response has been published on proposals to amend regulations and allow the parking of cars via a remote device. We will continue:
- amending legislation, via statutory instrument, to clarify the use of remote control parking
- to regulate in a programme of reform and policy development, working closely with industry and other stakeholders

- amending regulation 110 of the Construction and Use Regulations
- making subsequent changes to the Highway Code to clarify use of advanced driver assistance systems, namely remote control parking and motorway assist functions
This consultation is a follow up to our previous consultation held last year.
