The government’s response to the South Korea call for input is included in the UK’s approach to negotiating an enhanced free trade agreement with the Republic of Korea.

We received submissions from 94 respondents representing a broad range of stakeholders from across the UK. We are considering these responses as we develop our approach to negotiations and will publish a full response to the Call for Input before commencing negotiations with South Korea.

We want to know:

  • what you think about our current trading arrangements with South Korea
  • where we could make changes or improvements
  • where you are facing challenges or constraints when attempting to trade or invest in South Korea

We will use this information to help inform our approach for starting negotiations on a free trade agreement (FTA) with South Korea in the future.
