On 26 October 2015, the British Ambassador, Jo Adamson and Mohamed Keita, Managing Director of Impact Hub Bamako, signed a letter under which the British Embassy will provide a grant of almost £5,000 to the new Bamako Impact Hub.

The grant will be used to allow the Bamako Impact Hub to join a growing global network of Impact Hubs, from London to Johannesburg, from San Francisco to Singapore… and now Bamako! The objective is to support young entrepreneurs and innovators in creating sustainable growth for their businesses and communities by bringing together affordable shared services to foster creativity and practical impact.

The Bamako Impact Hub website (http://bamako.impacthub.net/) say the Impact Hub is “part innovation lab, part business incubator, and part community centre, we offer our members a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities to grow impact. Joining our diverse community of members and collaborators will inspire, connect, and enable you to develop your best work every step of the way”.
