Developing affordable urban heat networks - apply for funding
SBRI competition inviting businesses to develop lower cost heating and water infrastructure in Wales
Bridgend County Borough Council is launching a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition to identify how innovation in construction and smart technology can be used to cut the capital cost of district heating and water infrastructure as well as improve overall lifetime efficiencies, in terms of resource use and infrastructure economics.
A total of up to £2.2 milion (excluding VAT) is potentially available for development contracts in this competition which may run in 2 phases.
The competition is now open for applications.
