National Minimum Wage Visits Programme 2016: Find out how to get involved
The Low Pay Commission (LPC) will be visiting areas across the UK to gather evidence on the National Minimum Wage and low pay.
The Commission, whose purpose is to provide advice to the Government on matters relating to the National Minimum Wage (NMW), would like to meet employers and workers affected by low pay, to hear first hand what impact the NMW is having in your area.
This year we are particularly interested in evidence on the likely impact of the new National Living Wage (NLW), applicable for workers aged 25 and over.
If you would like to meet LPC Commissioners or would like further information, please get in touch with the LPC Secretariat: [email protected]; Tel 020 7211 8119 to arrange a convenient time and location.
Details of the proposed dates and locations are as follows:
Date | Visits Programme Locations |
19-20 April | Sunderland |
11-12 May | Hereford & Worcestershire |
8-10 June | Northern Ireland (Derry) |
