Have your say on the NIB roadmaps at our regional events
NIB is holding a series of engagement events throughout this summer to get feedback on the proposals set out in the roadmaps.
The National Information Board would like views from those in the health and care system who are already involved in technology and digital advances, or who have an interest in digital health and care.
Register to attend one of the regional events:
- Wednesday 15 July Sheffield
- Tuesday 21 July Manchester
- Friday 24 July Bristol
- Tuesday 28 July Reading
Questions for discussion include:
- do you agree with the strategic direction described in the roadmaps?
- what are the barriers to delivery?
- what incentives and levers will be required to ensure success?
If you are working on something that aligns with the principles of Personalised Health and Care 2020, we would love to hear from you.
Tim Kelsey, Chair of the National Information Board said:
We have come a long way from the publication of Personalised Health and Care 2020 last year. We now have proposals to ensure that data and information can be used effectively across the NHS and social care and to move us towards a modern, digital and paperless NHS by 2020.
The roadmaps outline the path for delivering this vision but we need those who work in the health and care system to critique these plans and tell us how they can be improved to deliver the digital revolution need to transform the health and care landscape.
