Possible strikes in Portugal

Disruption in air travel expected should strikes proceed as planned. British nationals are advised to keep in touch with their airline or tour operators for more information.

Unions representing Portuguese air traffic controllers have announced that their members will be participating in strike action on 12, 13, 19, 20 and 26 April for a period of two hours from 0700-0900 hours.

If the planned strike goes ahead, they may affect your travel plans. Be prepared for delays and keep in touch with your airline or tour operator for advice on the options available to you.
