Each year the United Kingdom remembers all those who have given their lives in the service of their country at a ceremony on or close to 11 November, the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War. In Estonia this ceremony takes place in Tallinn’s Defence Forces Cemetery at the graveside of some of the British seamen who lost their lives during action by the Royal Navy in 1918 to 1919 in support of Estonian independence.

We invite you to join the Remembrance Day Ceremony at Tallinn’s Military Cemetery, Filtri tee 14 on Wednesday 11 November. The Ceremony will begin at 10.45 so arrival no later than 10.35 would be helpful. The Ambassador will be laying a wreath as will representatives of the Estonian Defence Forces.

Please confirm your attendance to [email protected] by 6th of November.
