Stephen Crabb visits Royal British Legion and Royal Mail
Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb today visited the Royal British Legion's new drop in Centre and the Royal Mail's sorting office in Cardiff.
At his visit to the Royal British Legion, Mr Crabb said:
Wales has a proud tradition of military service, and at Christmas in particular, we owe our Armed Forces an immense debt of gratitude.
So I am delighted to see the fantastic work the Royal British Legion does in supporting our service men and women, veterans and their families.
Their hardworking staff provide invaluable support and advice to the armed forces community who work tirelessly to defend our values and way of life.
At the Royal Mail sorting office, Mr Crabb said:
Christmas is by far the busiest time of year for Royal Mail and I don’t underestimate the challenge of sorting and delivering cards and parcels for people all over the UK.
I want to thank the fabulous postmen and women at Wales’ largest sorting office, who are working hard to deliver Christmas to Wales.
