Tajikistan Small Projects Programme: call for bids 2024 to 2025
British Embassy Dushanbe invites proposals by 5 September 2024 for project initiatives for activity in Tajikistan by end of March 2025.
Objectives
We expect project initiatives to contribute to one of the following objectives:
- rule of law: foster access to justice, work to eliminate gender-based violence
- clean growth: enable use of innovative technology to increase growth in line with global energy transition
- conservation: improving conservation of nature and endangered species in Tajikistan, enabling and encouraging citizens to enjoy and respect nature
The maximum project budget for proposals is £20,000. Activity should start and finish between October 2024 and March 2025.
How to submit bids
We invite project proposals for activity within the specified time frames. Proposals will need to identify a clear and complete set of objectives and relevant activities, with activity-based budget. Bidders should only bid for funds that are needed.
Project proposals must have a clear purpose supported by achievable and measurable outputs (for example, events and reports) and outcomes (what the project aims to help address through its activity).
Project costs can be in Tajik Somoni/US dollars but must give the equivalent value in pounds sterling.
Proposals will be judged against whether the budgeted activity is required to achieve the project’s objectives.
Complete the project proposal form and activity-based budget template in English and email them to the British Embassy in Dushanbe at [email protected] by 11:59pm Dushanbe time on 5 September 2024.
Include ‘SPP: Project bid’ and name of your organisation in the email subject field.
Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
Note that bidding is competitive and only selected projects will receive funding. The embassy reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without incurring any obligation to inform the affected applicant/s of the grounds of such acceptance or rejection.
Due to the volume of bids expected we will not be able to provide feedback on unsuccessful bids.
