The British Ambassador to the Holy See chairs "Religion and Secularism in a Global Age" conference

On 1 March 2013, the British Ambassador to the Holy See Nigel Baker chaired “Religion and Secularism in a Global Age” Conference, organised by the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, in co-operation with the British Embassy to the Holy See, the Pontifical Council for Culture and its Courtyard of the Gentiles programme, the American University of Rome, and the Pontifical Gregorian University.

In his concluding remarks, HMA Baker stated: “Dialogue between the secular and religious worlds helps us to recall our roots, improves our understanding of whence we came, and can provide pointers to the paths we ought to follow in the future”.
