What we do

The National Crime Agency Remuneration Review Body (NCARRB) make independent recommendations to the government on the pay and allowances of National Crime Agency (NCA) officers designated with operational powers. These officers are subject to legislative restrictions on industrial action. The NCA was established by the Crime and Courts Act 2013 and became operational on 7 October 2013. The NCARRB was established under the National Crime Agency (Remuneration Review Body) Regulations which came into force on 29 August 2013. Members of the NCARRB are also members of the Police Remuneration Review Body (PPRB).

NCARRB works with the Home Office.
