Our locations

Sellafield

The Sellafield site is at the heart of West Cumbria, on the edge of the famous Lake District.

West Cumbria is a unique, beautiful place to live and work. An area of vivid and exciting contrasts, it has awe-inspiring Lake District Mountains on one side and the dramatic and picturesque Irish Sea coast on the other.

The local area is a great place to call home. Whether you want the busy and bustling towns of Whitehaven and Workington, the genteel charm of Cockermouth, the timeless calm of Ravenglass, Eskdale and St Bees, or even, a little further away, the bright lights of Carlisle, there are locations to suit all lifestyles.

Warrington

Combining hi-tech development with the charm of rural villages and beautiful countryside, Warrington is an area becoming ever more popular as a place to live and work.

Warrington has even more to offer. Right at the heart of vibrant, busy northwest England, it is 30 minutes from both Manchester and Liverpool. It is a part of the country within easy access of superb shopping, a thriving nightlife and first-class leisure facilities.

We welcome colleagues from all backgrounds and our partnership recently earned the Investors in Diversity Award from the National Centre for Diversity.

We are proud to be the first in nuclear to gain this national accolade, and to have been formally recognised for our continuing commitment to improving levels of fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement.

Not only do we have an important national purpose at the heart of what we do, we get to do our work in 2 locations in the north of England.
