Kate Bell
Biography
Kate Bell is Assistant General Secretary at the TUC, responsible for inter-union relations and leads on TUC internal matters. Kate joined the TUC in 2016 as the organisation’s head of economics, international and employment rights. She played a leading role in representing the views of working people during the pandemic. Before working in the TUC, Kate worked as Head of Policy and Public Affairs for a local authority and has also worked for the charities Child Poverty Action Group and Gingerbread.
Industrial Strategy Advisory Council member
Members of the Industrial Strategy Advisory Council (ISAC) contribute to the development and long-term delivery of HM Government’s industrial strategy. They work with the ISAC chair and other ISAC members to produce independent, evidence-based recommendations that directly inform government policy.
