Neil Wolstenholme OBE

Biography

Neil Wolstenholme joined the Mining Remediation Authority in September 2024 as an interim programme director.

Neil is a Chartered Project Professional with more than 30 years’ experience working in and leading major government projects, programmes and portfolios, covering departments including Department for Work and Pensions, HM Revenue & Customs, Valuation Office Agency and the Infrastructure and Projects Authority in the Cabinet Office.

A graduate of the government’s flagship Major Projects Leadership Academy, he was awarded an OBE for services to government in project delivery in 2013.

This role is responsible for:

  • leadership of the inland salinity programme
  • providing strategic input in to the Mining Remediation Authority’s executive leadership team, supporting the organisation’s delivery in line with its values
