Details

The annual Taking Part user event was held on 18 August 2011.

The event showcased Taking Part analysis and encouraged discussion on many topics, including the new Taking Part longitudinal panel.

Material from the day will be used to inform the next wave of Taking Part.

Taking Part is the key evidence source for DCMS and was commissioned primarily to provide a single evidence source on participation in culture and sport.

The survey is currently used to measure and inform departmental indicators, inform the development and impact of DCMS policy, and to understand the drivers and barriers of participation in cultural and sporting activities.
