This document sets out the the rationale for investment in sport and outlines a range of positive impacts achieved through sport over the period 2010 to 2015.

It covers a range of areas and themes including London 2012 and its ongoing legacy, elite success, grassroots participation, investment in facilities, sport for young people, disabled people and women, as well as sport’s international impact and major sporting events.
