Details

In August 2019 the LPC’s chairman Bryan Sanderson wrote to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy with the recommendations in this report. Read his letter here.

The report contains the evidence underpinning the LPC’s recommendation for a phased extension of the National Living Wage to workers aged 21-24. The LPC did not recommend changes to the rates for workers aged under 21.
