Details

At the request of the Home Office, the Government Actuary’s Department carried out an actuarial valuation of the police pension schemes as at 31 March 2016. The valuation has been undertaken in accordance with the Public Service Pensions (valuations and employer cost cap) Directions 2014 (as amended), which specify certain assumptions and require other assumptions to be the Home Secretary’s best estimates. HM Treasury has confirmed its consent to the assumptions proposed by the Home Secretary.
