Details

Produced by BryceTech on behalf of the Department for Transport (DfT), this independent advanced air mobility (AAM) evidence review addresses evidence gaps set out in DfT’s areas of research interest. It provides an overview of the current and expected future of the UK and global AAM industry, including:

  • the level of development and time to market of vehicles and enabling technologies
  • the size of the current UK and global markets and future market outlooks
  • market drivers and barriers and possible government interventions to facilitate the growth of the UK AAM market

The review recognises the high level of uncertainty about the AAM market given the industry’s emerging nature. It draws on a wide range of literature and expertise, including a steering group with representatives from DfT, Civil Aviation Authority, Future Flight Challenge, Connected Places Catapult and academia.
