Details

In 2021, the Animals in Science Committee (ASC) established a task and finish group for the Strategic Review of Project Licences. This was in response to a commissioning letter from the then Home Office Minister, Baroness Williams of Trafford (Home Office (UK), 2020a). The purpose of this group is to carry out reviews of selected project licences falling under a theme.

The associated reports and advice, in the form of a series of recommendations to the minister, are reviewed and agreed by the full ASC.
