This impact assessment concerns the implementation of Directive 2013/37/EU, which amends Directive 2003/98/EC on the Re-use of Public Sector Information (the ‘PSI Directive’), into UK law. The PSI Directive was implemented in the UK through the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2005 (the ‘PSI Regulations’ ).

The PSI Directive is concerned with the re-use by businesses and citizens of information held by public sector bodies. Its aim is to support technology driven growth and civil society applications, for example, in the use of mapping information in satellite navigation products.
