Details

These regulations amend the Train Driving Licences and Certificates Regulations 2010 to provide for the continued recognition of European train driving licences for the Channel Tunnel and cross-border area.

This will enable the implementation and ratification of a bilateral agreement, which has been agreed at technical level but is subject to final legal checks and ratification, between the UK and France on the mutual recognition of British and European train driving licences for the Channel Tunnel and cross-border area.
