Details

The inspection looked at the following areas, with a focus on FNOs in detention:

  • the effectiveness and quality of the services provided by the Immigration Prison Teams
  • the prioritisation of cases for removal and the effectiveness of the Early Removal and Facilitated Return Schemes
  • the Home Office’s strategy for the collection, monitoring, and reporting of FNO data, and how this data is used to capture best practice and drive improvements *the role of caseworking teams in prioritising and progressing FNO cases towards removal
