Details

The learning disabilities annual health check is a reasonable adjustment that can be effective in detecting unmet health needs.

This guidance has information about the benefits of annual health checks for people with learning disabilities aged 14 and over. There are links to resources to help staff at GP surgeries support people with learning disabilities to attend a health check, and links to easy read resources and videos that family carers and social care staff can use to help prepare people with learning disabilities for an annual health check.
