Details

Anthrax is a bacterial disease which primarily affects herbivorous animals, although all mammals are susceptible to infection. In humans, anthrax can affect the skin and, rarely, the respiratory or gastro-intestinal tract.

  1. This revision provides updated advice on the need for and timing of booster doses for anthrax vaccine for occupation groups.

  2. Borders General Hospital in Scotland no longer supplies anthrax vaccine so it has been removed from the list of suppliers.
