This report presents the findings of the most recent (2017) national household survey of current public knowledge about anti-microbial resistance (AMR) and of people’s antibiotic use.

This information is important in designing campaigns and strategies in order to:

  • improve public understanding
  • reduce inappropriate use of antibiotics
  • raise general awareness of the threat posed by AMR
