This document explains how and when applications can be made to the Biometrics Commissioner to keep the DNA profile and fingerprint records of a person who has been arrested for, but not charged with a qualifying offence.

It explains what the process means for those individuals who are the subject of such an application and how they can make representations to the commissioner.
